What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a web-feed format based on XML used to publish frequently-updated web content. RSS content (also known as a feed, web-feed, or channel) is free and can be read using software called a reader, feed reader, RSS reader, or aggregator.
Why use RSS?
When you subscribe to a feed, updates to this website will automatically download in your feed reader so that you don't have to visit the website frequently to see what's new. It's a fast and easy way of keeping up with PAI!
How do I subscribe to an RSS feed?
You can subscribe to a feed through a reader by adding the feed link to a list of feed subscriptions in the reader. Some readers will detect a feed if you click on an RSS icon in a browser and it will then initiate the subscription process for you. Once you have subscribed to a feed, the reader will check it regularly and download any updates.
Please note that different feed readers will have different features. The following are steps for subscribing to feeds generally.
- Click on the link to a feed on the feed web page.
- Copy the link address in your browser's address bar by right-clicking and selecting "copy" or by going to "edit" button on your toolbar and then selecting "copy."
- In your feed reader, select the option to add a feed subscription
- Paste the link address where you are prompted to add an address by right-clicking and selecting "paste" or by going to "edit" button on your toolbar and then selecting "paste."
- Click OK
