RIGHTS OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE BEEN PLACED OUT OF COUNTY

Have
you been placed out of the county you call home?

Do
you still want to vote in the county you call home?
Under
·
The
place where you currently are and intend to remain; or
·
A
place where you formerly lived, as long as you intend to return.
The
law is also clear that you do not lose your right to be domiciled in a place
just because you have been placed in a facility in another county.[2]
If
you have been placed out of your home county and you intend to return to that
county, please inform staff at the facility where you live or your conservator
that you would like information about absentee voting in your home county.
